*mutter*

Hrm. Yesterday broke my streak of updates. Bummer. Though I was starting to notice, until the last couple of days, that I get more comments when I update less frequently. :)

This weekend was very busy, as I think I mentioned, and not very fun. Today will be much more of the same. I just woke up an hour ago or so, and all I can think about is going back to bed. Unfortunately, I’ll probably see most of the hours of today, because that video project *still* isn’t done. Even after I waited in the parking lot of Best Buy for an hour yesterday morning (I got there at 10, they don’t open until farking ~11~ on Sunday mornings) trying desperately not to wet my pants or fall asleep. I was successful on both fronts, thankyouverrahmuch. The (overpriced) firewire card I bought works… unfortunately, my teacher either forgot to mention or wasn’t aware that the firewire drive he let me borrow for the weekend only works on Macintoshes. And since I had to wait around all day for my French amis to arrive, I couldn’t head to campus and work on it there. So instead, I’ll work on it on-campus tonight.

Anyways. I’m sleepy, and disgruntled, and generally in a poor mood Just Because. :) So I’m going to get dressed so I can start my day off clothed and in class on-time. Une bonne idée, n’est-ce pas? I’ll try and write more later, while at work or something.

Coolest. Schedule. Ever.

I signed up for my Fall 2003 classes Friday morning, after gathering up all of my spare nickels, drawing a pint of blood and chanting melodious praises to the gods of Accounts Receivable. But I think the gods have smiled upon me in return, or at least, it was a good thing that I was able to sign up for classes on-schedule. I have, methinks, the coolest schedule I

Photo Friday - Glass

Friday, March 28th, 2003

This Friday’s challenge is: Glass.

17 East Hall. HP C500

I checked for a Photo Friday while at work a few minutes ago, and I said, “Glass. Huh. Where in the heck am I going to find neat-looking glass?” And then I looked behind me, and this is what I saw. :) Some of that old-fashioned, can’t-see-but-shadows glass set in the door to my office-area. So I snapped a picture, plugged in my USB card reader, and here we are.

Added March 29, 2003:

Glass Elements IV. HP C500

I saw this while walking to the kitchen for some OJ, and decided to take a picture for Photo Friday, even if it is a day late. Megan cleaned Friday, so our place is pretty. :)

Splash of Color

Thursday, March 27th, 2003

I present to you the one object worth taking a picture of in the whole of Ross Hall, otherwise known as Iowa State’s English building. The building is tall, stark and gray, with a stark gray-and-dirt interior. However, they’ve made their benches, of which there is one at either end of every hallway, quite pretty. Not that I’ve the skill to capture such pretty-tude myself, but I tried. I got this while waiting outside my advisor’s office. The image is dark because I didn’t want the flash to take away from the nice lines the shadows created. Click to enlarge. (which is going to become a rule, I think, so I’m going to stop saying it soon. It’s going to be an assumed thing, kay?)

This image was brought to you by CyRide’s Blue Route, which decided to leave four minutes ahead of schedule today, causing me to miss another morning class. It is also brought to you in part by CSS, my desire to create a nice image border, and the need for a test image. And my clunky old HP C500 digital camera.

Off-subject: My phone’s address book was, of course, lost. If I had your number previously, or if you would like me to have your number currently, please email it to me. :)

I missed my first class this morning (meaning, my first class of the day, not the first class I’ve missed. Heh). Megan
