1) I got my cellphone back!!! I happened to be in the mall, and so I decided to stop at Radio Shack and check. The Shackian looked in the back, and lo and behold, there it was. *grin* Makes me wonder how long it’s really been back in Iowa. They didn’t call to let me know or anything (they had Megan’s cell number, and my parent’s number). It has the newest software version on it, too. I can tell a significant difference… it’s so smooth in comparison to the older version. Ahh… I feel whole again. :) Message me or something! I need to make up for two months of paying for service I didn’t get to use. *g*
2) My dreaded Thursday project has been put off until next Tuesday. It turns out I wasn’t the only one who had better things to do than research and filming during their Spring Break. However, I did make progress on the project today. Anthony and I walked over to the Design building and he helped me frame a few shots, and we bounced ideas off each other. I’m feeling a lot more confident now, which is cool.
3) I need to buy a FireWire card so I can work on my video project at home. I checked at Target, Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, and Software Etc, but they didn’t have any. I know Staples has them, and there’s a Staples in town, but I also know they’re selling the cards for $60. Best Buy sells them for $15, but our Best Buy doesn’t open until (rumor has it) the first of April. Which is the day the project is due. *sigh*
That’s all for now. Megan and I are going to enjoy the evening together with some Chinese food and maybe a movie. :)

Yeah, I’ve noticed that, too. I did a little optimization on the javascripts and CSS’s tonight for the robot and the default skin, so maybe you’ll notice it loading a bit nicer. Maybe. It seems to have improved load-time on my end, at the very least.
Appreciate the feedback, by the way. :)

My only problem with the skins — totally not related to your post, sorry — is that they load slowly enough, even on my cable modem, that I’m often several paragraphs into your post before I see the nice little robot guy.
