I was paid an entire paperclip to run this ad. :)
The Soc Club is gathering donations of toys and children’s winter clothing items for Seasons of Giving. Seasons of Giving is one of the programs sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Story County.
We are gathering donations of new toys, and new hats, gloves, coats, mittens, etc. in children’s sizes. We are turning in our donations on December 5. We ask that all donations be made by 5:00 on Thursday, December 4.
You can find out more about the Volunteer Center and the Seasons of Giving program by following this link.
Thank you for your support!
Now, obviously, if you’re nowhere near the ISU campus, dropping things off might be a bit of a problem. But I assure you: any mittens, Barbies, Hello Kitty gear or other toys that I don’t want for Christmas that are mailed to me within the next couple of weeks will find their way into the box.
I’m going to assume, however, that if anything from any of my wishlists makes it to my house before Christmas, that it was fully intended to be Rob’s for the hoarding.

I always knew you’d sell out… I just hoped it would be for more than a single paperclip. Regardless, welcome to the club.

Thanks for running the ad Rob! I’m expecting to get a lot of contributions now.
However, I think you edited the original message to the point that I may have to ask for my paperclip back unless this issue is immediately rectified.
How will your blog-readers know where to drop off their contributions? Sure, you said they could send the Mittens, Barbies, and Hello Kitty things to you, but what about the GI Joes, hats with propellors, and gameboys? Of course you know, and I know, that they can be dropped off in 107 East Hall, but do you your readers know that?
If we can get this resolved quickly, there may be another paper clip in it for you. Maybe even one of those fancy black ones! If we get a lot of donations from people who heard about us from your blog, we can look at getting you an ISU Sociology Folder!
Thanks for your support!

Was it a big paperclip or a little paper clip?
What color was it?
Is it new or used? (or, perhaps, like-new codition?)
